The comparison kit: the register, the plan and the report
A comparison of age assurance systems produces three artefacts: a register that says what has to be answered, a test plan that says how, and a report that says what was found and what it does not cover. The kit gives you all three, filled with this site's record and empty where your facts belong.
What is in it
| File | What it contains |
|---|---|
| comparison-register.pdf | The 17 analysis units as an assignable register, with the requirement, the practice, the evidence, the common gaps and the questions. A dated plan to the planning date follows the register. |
| comparison-register.csv | The same rows as data: code, unit, group, requirement, practice, evidence, gaps, questions. One row per unit, ready for a spreadsheet or a system. |
| comparison-register.xlsx | The register, the evidence list, the framework map, the sampling worksheet, the report template and the plan, as separate sheets. |
What it is for
It is for the person who has to answer a board, a regulator or a procurement panel with a comparison they can defend. The register names the question and the artefact. The worksheet sizes the sample and states the attack potential before the test. The report template keeps the limitations in the same document as the result, so the claim and its scope travel together.
What it is not
It is not a test. It does not score a vendor, and it does not turn a draft into a published requirement. The benchmark figures are from a public working draft and are labelled as such. The kit is re-issued at no charge when the text is published, and the buyer keeps the draft version so the difference is visible.
